Burpee Chin Up Variation
I found this exercise very handy in building strength to perform strict chin ups as well as being a great power exercise to get the heart rate going! With this movement you are able to jump and give yourself that extra momentum from your burpee to assist you with the chin up.
To build strength for chin ups you can:
- Lat pull down.
- Use a resistance band when doing strict chin ups.
- Have someone assisting you (or assistance machine)
- Do Negatives (jump up to the highest position of the chin up hold your body weight and then as slowly as you can let yourself down until you reach the bottom of the movement).
